World Space Week (WSW) is celebrated worldwide from the 4th – 10th October. The Cape Town Science Centre invites you to an exciting evening event, A Night With The Stars, on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 18:00 to 21:00. Bring along family and friends for a fun and educational experience!
This year, the theme is “Space & Climate Change,” highlighting the crucial role of space technology in addressing climate change and how space exploration contributes to a better understanding and management of Earth’s climate.
The evening includes Light Room and Camera Obscura tours, stargazing, and a special talk by cosmologist Professor Peter Dunsby.
