Your adventure begins upon arrival. One of the first spaces you’ll see as you ride gleefully in the safari vehicle is the elevated lodge, which blends effortlessly into its surroundings.

Positioned between graceful water dams and watering holes there is an abundance of evergreen trees and rocky mountainous peaks, which becomes even more apparent on the game drive. However you could never leave the lodge and still have a five star experience. This is also because there is an underground masterpiece, the waterhole hide, which offers guests the unique opportunity to gaze into a zebras deep glassy eyes. This space is fully open and designed with the animals at the forefront, they wont even know you’re there. As they sip and slurp from the water, close your jaw, take a seat and blend in with nature.

We love that the lodge offers family villas as well as specialised game drives for little ones. They even have a Kids Program which merges seamlessly with the two daily adult game drives and meal times. Kiddies activities include insect walks, animal and even star gazing. And they even have babysitters on hand. There is also a kiddies menu so your prince and princess’s dietary requirements are constantly satisfied.
