We visited these three pamper parlors and tried our favorite spoils, here is what we recommend and where to visit for a guaranteed indulgence.
1. Alushi Aesthetics
Where: 66 Rivonia Road, Santon
What to expect: First thing you need to know is Alushi have moved. Welcome to Jozi we are so happy to have you. We had to visit this beautiful brand new salon in the most luxurious space in the city of gold, Sandton. The brand has successfully expanded and opened a new flagship salon, it’s impossible not to unwind once you arrive.
Just rejuvenate, order a soya milk cuppa and get pampered in the most stunning modern space.
#HelloRecommends: Deluxe Gelish Pedicure and soak off R540, there is nowhere that does a better pedi, not only is the paint job immaculate but they use this gooey, slippery, crumbly liquid that becomes a gel on the feet, youll leave with the softest toes in town. Yes it is pure heaven.
Oh and if you have a few extra rands to spare book a Derma Scan of the face R1450 and a peel.
2. Nail'd
Where: 58 – 6th Street, Parkhurst
What to expect: Well with a name like that they better ensure they nail it! We are here to tell you they do, every time! There nail painting is lit and they have certainly mastered the skill of nail painting. Not only that but we love this intimate beautiful boutique nail salon, it is the perfect weekly pick-me-up spot!

3. Vanilla Nails
Where: Corner 3rd Avenue and 6th Street, Linden
What to expect: Linden’s little secret gem, this nail bar is hard to miss when driving by but boy do they deliver in service and expertise. This super cute salon has made an indelible impression on the locals and they deserve all the praise.
