Inaugural Hazendal Festival – Soil Edition

The first Hazendal Festival, happening from October 4-6, 2024, at Hazendal Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, Cape Town, will blend South African culture with global perspectives.

The festival aims to foster meaningful discussions among artists, scientists and cultural practitioners through a “Community In Practice,” encouraging leaders across various fields to collaborate, create, and debate key issues shaping our world.

Over three days, the event will stimulate the senses with unique experiences, including a two-day symposium, artist installations, performances, children’s workshops, live music, and wine and dining experiences.
