Arrive at Heidelberg Station by 09:30 to witness the stunning Rovos Rail 19th-century steam train glide over the bridge.
By 10:30, head over to the Heidelberg Airfield to see the vintage vehicle parade thread its way through the vintage aircraft display, where proud pilots in historic aviation attire will welcome you.
The procession of antique cars and motorcycles will rest beneath their respective national flags, including Italy, France, the USA, West Germany and more.
Explore the retro market stalls and treat yourself to high-quality, hand-picked vintage items, or relax and enjoy live music as the band plays timeless hits. Children will have a blast in a dedicated, safely fenced-off area. From riding a miniature steam train to crafts and candle dipping, there’s plenty for them to enjoy.
For extra excitement, parents can treat their little ones to a helicopter ride or a spin in a turn-of-the-century high-wheeler.
