A captivating new experience is coming to the Mother City! On Saturday, 31 May 2025, the internationally acclaimed Museum of Illusions will officially open its doors on Kloof Street. This marks the museum’s debut in Cape Town, its second location in South Africa, third in Africa, and 61st worldwide.
Following the record-breaking success of the Johannesburg location, which opened in July 2024 and shattered global attendance figures, Cape Town is ready to take the illusion experience to thrilling new heights.
At Museum of Illusions Cape Town, you’re not just allowed to interact—you’re encouraged to! Snap pics as you defy gravity in the Tilted Room, lose your head at the Clone Table, or multiply yourself in the Infinity Room. Every corner offers a photo-worthy moment and a twist on perception.
