Durbanville Hills’ new visitors centre showcases an interactive map that outlines the unique contours of the area, the wine farm’s proximity to the ocean, as well as details about member farms. In fact, the comprehensive overview provides a complete understanding of the cool climate terroir Durbanville Hills is known for. This includes the distinctive characteristics of the region. Various informative displays cover Durbanville Hills’ multiple wine ranges, offering a step-by-step guide to not only the red and white winemaking processes, but also maturation insights. Additionally, the centre also offers valuable tips on proper wine storage at home.

Furthermore, a central pod boasts virtual reality headsets that transport you into the realms of Durbanville Hills’ flagship Tangram range and the Collectors Reserve range, with each bottle named and representing an iconic landmark in Cape Town. The visitors centre is open every day and pre-bookings aren’t required. The visitors centre and tasting rooms operate on the following schedule:

MONDAY: 12:00 – 18:00
TUESDAY TO FRIDAY: 10:00 – 18:00
SATURDAYS: 10:00 – 17:00
SUNDAYS: 11:00 – 17:00
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: 10:00 – 17:00
