If Tequila is your thing, head on over the the brand-new Loco Restaurant in Braamfontein. They only opened in March this year and their Tequila bar is a must-visit. Gather some friends and try some of the close to 30 different varieties of Tequila or mezcal on offer. Wine, bubbles and cocktails are also available and of course, delicious Mexican fare like nachos and quesadillas to balance out the alcohol.

Award-winning musician and chef, J’Something has partnered with hotel and apartment network, BlackBrick to bring Artistry to the Sandton entertainment and foodie scene. This brand-new venue boasts a three-level experience with a rooftop restaurant, a middle level for live music and other performances and finally, the street-level lounge bar called The Listening Bar, where you can sip on one of their signature cocktails like the Coffee Cart or the Basil Smash. The newest member of the Tiger’s Milk family has just opened its doors at Appleton’s Village on Malibongwe Drive, Randburg. If you’re a beer lover, pop into this brand-new bar and grill and sip on an ice-cold Part Wolf or Tiger’s Milk Lager. If hunger starts gnawing, enjoy some of their ‘dude food’ – burgers and pizza (and yes, they cater to vegetarians and vegans too).
