OAK Entertainment is excited to announce the upcoming production of ‘Aspoestertjie: Die Pantomime,’ set to run at the Afriforum Theatre from December 4 to 13, 2024. This delightful show promises to enchant audiences of all ages!
‘Aspoestertjie: Die Pantomime’ offers a humorous twist on the beloved Cinderella tale. The story follows Tina Tydreis, a time traveler from the 1980s, who unexpectedly finds herself in the 18th century. Accompanied by her quirky sidekick, GOGGA, Tina navigates the peculiar town of Harringtonslaagte.
Meanwhile, Cindy, a kind-hearted girl oppressed by her stepmother Violetta and stepsisters Amaranta and Marabella, dreams of capturing the heart of Prince Jan-Percy at an upcoming ball. With Tina and GOGGA’s assistance, Cindy makes her way to the ball, leading to a series of comedic misadventures, enchanting songs, and touching moments.
This imaginative tale seamlessly blends modern technology with historical elements, creating a whimsical journey filled with laughter, surprises, and the timeless magic of fairy tales.
Aspoestertjie will be a celebration of heart, humour and magic for the entire family!

Tucked within the exclusive Korhaan River Estate, where fewer than 30 families share in the quiet luxury of open skies, river breeze and uninterrupted privacy, this remarkable property brings country living to life with elegance, intention, and a touch of soul.
Set along the gentle Leeuspruit River — just a short flow from the mighty Vaal — the estate unfolds across 70,500m² of manicured grounds, three shimmering dams, and sweeping lawns made for unhurried afternoons. It’s the kind of setting where mornings begin with birdsong and evenings settle beneath a canopy of stars — whether as a permanent sanctuary or a sophisticated weekend retreat from city rush.

For Mrs South Africa 2025 finalist Talitha Oosthuizen, the pageant is more than a crown—it’s a calling. With courage rooted in her faith and a voice devoted to those who cannot speak for themselves, she’s using her platform to bring light to South Africa’s darkest crisis: human trafficking.

It’s that time of year when thanking the team for all that they delivered is critical. The year-end party is more than just an opskop, it’s the opportunity to show your team that you truly value both who they are and what they delivered this year. They say that a team is ultimately about human connection, and it is with this in mind that we’ve chosen these venues for your ultimate closing-of-year conference or celebration.
