Pretoria’s much loved road race, the Bestmed TuksRace, is back! After celebrating its 10-year anniversary on 15 February 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic placed this prestigious annual road running event on hold. Now, it’s time to dust off your running shoes, warm up and start training (if you haven’t already), since the 11th Bestmed TuksRace will take place on Saturday, 18 February 2023 at the University of Pretoria Hillcrest Sports Campus.

Running enthusiasts of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to join this fun-filled family event. Athletes can enter the 21.1km half-marathon, the 10km or 5km races, or the 1km fun run or walk. Though 2023’s Bestmed TuksRace does not include the 42.2km marathon, the 21.1km race incorporates the Athletics Gauteng North (AGN) Championships.
