Franschhoek Wine Valley is thrilled to announce its latest venture: the Cap Classique Safari. This weekend event, perfect for bubbly lovers and aficionados of sparkling wines, celebrates Cap Classique wines and coincides with the start of spring and International Cap Classique Day.
The Cap Classique Safari weekend offers visitors the chance to indulge in the finest Cap Classiques of the region. Transportation is provided within designated pods, each curated to showcase a selection of renowned wineries:
- Pod 1: Haute Cabriére, Black Elephant Vintners, Le Lude, La Bri, Wildeberg, and Stony Brook.
- Pod 2: Franschhoek Cellar, Grande Provence, Leopard’s Leap, La Motte, and Rickety Bridge.
- Pod 3: Dieu Donné, Klein Goederust, Boschendal, Allée Bleue, and Anthonij Rupert Wyne.
Spaces for both the Safari and the Safari Mystery Weekend are limited, so secure your spot in advance to avoid disappointment.
Cap Classique Safari Details:
- Date: August 31st & September 1st, 2024
- Cost: R750 per person
- Includes: Visits to 5 Franschhoek Cap Classique producers, lunch at R350 per person, complimentary wine-tasting on arrival, x2 bubbly tastings at each farm, and transport within the pod (hop on hop off)

Cap Classique Safari Mystery Weekend Details:
- Date: Friday, August 30th – Sunday, September 1st, 2024
- Cost: R8950 per couple per weekend (check-in Friday, August 30th and check out Sunday, September 1st)
- Includes: 2 nights accommodation per couple, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Friday and Saturday, and the Safari on Saturday (which includes lunch)
