On February 14, 2025, Flip Flop Day gives South Africans a heartfelt way to stand with children and teenagers fighting cancer.
An annual event hosted by CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa, Flip Flop Day raises vital awareness and funds for children with cancer and their families. For just R10, participants receive a sticker and wear their flip flops proudly.
Every sticker purchased supports CHOC’s life-changing programmes, providing emotional, social, and practical care to children, teenagers, and their families.
Leading this movement of compassion is Flippie, CHOC’s beloved mascot and the ultimate SOLE-dier of love. The event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of unity, empathy, and hope.
