All these activities will take place around the Amphitheatre on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April 2023 from 10:00.

Activity 1: V&A Easter Hunt Amazing Race
Burn some energy when you take part in a customised Easter Hunt Amazing Race over at HintHunt. The race will take place on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April from 12:00 to 15:00, starting at the Amphitheatre. It will be free to play for participants. In addition, at the end of each race the fastest team will win a V&A Waterfront hamper.

Activity 2: V&A Kids’ Market
The V&A Kids’ Market is back on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April from 10:00 to 15:00 at the centre court, near H&M in the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre.
Essentially a platform for kids to showcase their creative skills, previous markets included a variety of handmade products. Come and support the businesses in the making, as they learn how to run a profitable venture from a young age, while having loads of fun doing it.

Activity 3: Face painting
Kids can have fun getting their face painted with Easter inspired themes with any of the three face painters located at the Kids Area opposite the Amphitheatre on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April from 12:00 to 15:00. Free to kids under the age of 12.

Activity 4: Meet the Easter Bunny at our Neighbourhood
For those wanting to meet and take a photo with the friendly Easter Bunny, make your way to Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre from 12:00 to 15:00 on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April.

Activity 5: Neighbourhood Easter auditions
When you’re at the V&A Waterfront – you’re bound to enjoy the sounds of African beats, the rhyme of Goema, troupes and choir, or marvel at the dancers or mimes. If you are a talented magician, musician, or any entertaining force in between, come and showcase your talent at the Easter auditions on 8, 9 and 11 April at the Amphitheatre between 12:00 and 16:00. Ultimately, successful performers will gain access to the V&A Waterfront’s mentorship programme.

Activity 6: V&A Makers Landing: Kids baking class
Join the Charming Chef for some story time as little chefs learn to make yummy treats in the Enchanted Kitchen at Makers Landing. Young bakers will make chocolate cupcakes filled with surprises and frosted with decadent chocolate frosting. Classes take place on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 April starting at 11:00. Tickets cost R195 per child and can be purchased via Quicket.

Activity 7: Enjoy a ride on the newly located Cape Wheel
Now located at the V&A Waterfront’s Breakwater Boulevard, the wheel offers the same exhilarating experience, but now boasts even better views. On one side, visitors overlook the waters of Granger Bay with Robben Island in the distance, and Table Mountain on the other. There’s also the sights of Signal Hill and the Cape Town Stadium.
