Mzansi Ballet invites South African audiences to experience a unique and historic showcase with Fusion of Favourites — a powerful, moving celebration of the company’s finest works. This limited-run season offers a special preview of the repertoire Mzansi Ballet will perform on the international stage at the Mzansi Ballet and Ticino Sound Festival in Lugano, Switzerland this July.

Running from 19 to 27 June 2025 at the Pieter Toerien Theatre, Montecasino, Fusion of Favourites brings together the very best of Mzansi Ballet in one extraordinary production. Audiences will have the exclusive chance to witness the full tour programme before it captivates European stages.

Programme Highlights

  • Song of Khudugo / Exodus – World premiere by the internationally renowned Vincent Mantsoe, exploring themes of migration, spirituality, and identity.
  • The Gold Rhino of Mapungubwe – A majestic tribute to African heritage through dance.
  • Swan Lake – Performed with timeless elegance and a modern, South African resonance.
  • Solace – A new neo-classical work by Angela Revie, set to Debussy’s haunting Clair de Lune.
  • Echoes of Reflection – A graceful, introspective ballet by Angela Revie, danced to Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 (2nd Movement).

On Auction: A Riverfront Country Estate Where Art, Architecture & Nature Live in Harmony

Tucked within the exclusive Korhaan River Estate, where fewer than 30 families share in the quiet luxury of open skies, river breeze and uninterrupted privacy, this remarkable property brings country living to life with elegance, intention, and a touch of soul.

Set along the gentle Leeuspruit River — just a short flow from the mighty Vaal — the estate unfolds across 70,500m² of manicured grounds, three shimmering dams, and sweeping lawns made for unhurried afternoons. It’s the kind of setting where mornings begin with birdsong and evenings settle beneath a canopy of stars — whether as a permanent sanctuary or a sophisticated weekend retreat from city rush.
