Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as the iconic Heidelberg Giant Pumpkin Festival returns from 27-29 March.
This annual event aims to make history by breaking the world record for the heaviest pumpkin. Beyond the massive pumpkins, the true heart of the festival lies in its dedication to supporting the local community.
Proceeds go to local causes, funding schools and feeding schemes. As a registered Non-Profit Company, the festival’s commitment to giving back is at the core of its mission.
The festival is packed with exciting competitions, live performances from South African stars, a thrilling 4×4 competition, golf tournament.
The top three pumpkins will be put to good use: seeds are saved for future competitions, while the pumpkin meat is donated to local feeding schemes.
Entry Fees:
- Friday: Adults – R200 | Children under 12 & Pensioners – R100
- Saturday: Adults – R80 | Children under 12 & Pensioners – R50
- Weekend Pass: Adults – R250 | Children under 12 & Pensioners – R130
