Hidden Giants
Hidden Giants is a live performance that delves into humanity’s quest to understand the most mysterious objects in our universe: black holes—cosmic giants that, by their very nature, should be invisible, swallowing all light.
This performance traces how an idea, born amidst the turmoil of World War II, captivated countless minds and ultimately led to the first-ever image of a black hole. The narrative follows pivotal figures such as Einstein and the team behind the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), unraveling the nature of black holes and the fate of our universe.
The performance unfolds in three acts, exploring the nature of black holes, the visionaries who imagined them, and those who eventually captured their image.
Visuals projected behind speaker Luca and pianist Yasheen, combined with carefully crafted sound design, amplify the storytelling, creating a fully immersive experience that draws the audience deeper into the exploration of these cosmic mysteries.
