Raise a glass to the inaugural Darling Whisky Weekend, taking place from 21 to 23 November 2025 in the picturesque town of Darling and nearby Yzerfontein. Inspired by the successful McGregor Whisky Weekend, this new Cape West Coast event invites whisky lovers, distillers, and curious newcomers to celebrate craftsmanship, culture, and community.
The weekend features exclusive masterclasses, tastings from top global distilleries, and a main exhibition at Darling Brew — all in support of The Darling Trust, which uplifts local communities through education, skills development, and health initiatives.
Expect an exceptional line-up of international and local whiskies, including labels from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, India, and South Africa’s own TOOR and Darling Brew Reminisce. Beloved broadcaster and comedian Guy McDonald will serve as Master of Ceremonies, ensuring a lively atmosphere filled with flavour, laughter, and West Coast charm. The event is proudly endorsed by West Coast Way.
