Joburg Film Festival

The Joburg Film Festival, running from February 28th to March 1st, 2024, at the Sandton Convention Centre.

This annual event celebrates  African cinema within the broader context of global film excellence. The Joburg Film Festival features carefully curated selection of over 60 films from various corners of the world, including South Africa, Africa and the diaspora.

Now in its sixth year, the event proudly presented in collaboration with Multichoice, has firmly established itself as an independent platform. The festival represents innovation, excellence and purposeful creativity not just for the city of Joburg but also for South Africa.
