The Joburg Film Festival (JFF), in partnership with the MultiChoice Group, is excited to reveal the theme for the highly anticipated seventh edition: “The Golden Thread – Connected Through Stories.”
Taking place from 11 – 16 March 2025, the festival will delve into the deep interconnectedness of our shared human experiences and the timeless power of storytelling.
Embodying the festival’s mantra, “Our Stories. Our Gold,” JFF continues to celebrate Joburg as the “City of Gold,” where stories are our most precious treasures—shining a light on our lives and reflecting the collective wisdom of diverse global communities.
Join us as we honour the essence of connection and explore “The Golden Thread,” a symbolic reminder of the universal ties that unite us all. Through this recurring motif, we celebrate the themes, emotions, and truths that resonate within the world’s most captivating stories.
