Leatherback Rum Surfski Challenge

The Leatherback Rum Surfski Challenge, part of the Ocean Festival festivities, is set to welcome back top-tier competitors. This thrilling doubles race, scheduled for Sunday, June 9th at Scottburgh, promises intense competition for a share of the R20,000 cash prize.

The challenge offers both a 15km long course and an 8km short course, showcasing the stunning coastline and marine beauty of Scottburgh. Participants will paddle from Scottburgh Main Beach to the famous Greenpoint Lighthouse and back, with divisions for men, women, juniors, veterans, and masters.
