The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is back in South Africa for the second installment of PFL Africa, showcasing the continent’s top MMA talent in a high-stakes night of combat sports. On Saturday, 9 August 2025, the Big Top Arena at Carnival City becomes the battleground for the Welterweight and Featherweight quarterfinals of the inaugural PFL Africa tournament.
Thirty-two elite fighters from 15 African nations step into the iconic SmartCage, each with a single goal: to advance to the semifinals and inch closer to the title of PFL Africa Champion.
The main event features a fiery Featherweight clash between Nigeria’s Patrick Ocheme (6-1) and Guinea’s Mohamed Camara (5-2-1)—two of West Africa’s brightest rising stars in a bout that promises fireworks. In the co-main event, Angola’s Shido Boris Esperanca (9-1) looks to build on his explosive debut win as he faces off against Gambia’s veteran Ibrahima Mané (14-5) in a high-stakes Welterweight duel.
PFL details and tickets are available online through TicketPro.

Tucked within the exclusive Korhaan River Estate, where fewer than 30 families share in the quiet luxury of open skies, river breeze and uninterrupted privacy, this remarkable property brings country living to life with elegance, intention, and a touch of soul.
Set along the gentle Leeuspruit River — just a short flow from the mighty Vaal — the estate unfolds across 70,500m² of manicured grounds, three shimmering dams, and sweeping lawns made for unhurried afternoons. It’s the kind of setting where mornings begin with birdsong and evenings settle beneath a canopy of stars — whether as a permanent sanctuary or a sophisticated weekend retreat from city rush.
