Joburg Ballet’s Spring Season of Dance opens in spectacular style with the glittering SANDT Spring Gala at the Joburg Theatre on Friday, 3 October.
The Gala promises a world-class evening that unites leading local and international talent. Guests are invited to dress for the occasion, enjoy pre-performance drinks and snacks, and experience an unforgettable night at the theatre.
The one-night-only programme features Royal Ballet principal dancers Sarah Lamb and Ryoichi Hirano, as well as a special homecoming performance by South African-born Lara Turk. Sharing the stage with them will be Joburg Ballet, WGRUV Dance Company, and the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Eddie Clayton.

The Gala further celebrates South African creativity with works by Veronica Paeper, Sean Bovim, Adele Blank, and Dane Hurst.
