This Women’s Day, Capegate Shopping Centre is flipping the script with Sip & Social — a vibrant celebration of creativity, connection, and self-care. The day kicks off with an honest, heartfelt talk from Sherlin Barends, KFM radio host and motivational speaker. Expect an unfiltered conversation about resilience, growth, and celebrating the little victories — not a polished TED Talk, but a warm, real moment woman-to-woman. From there, guests dive into a tactile art session with Artt Palette, a woman-led studio from Durbanville. Whether you’re a first-timer or a creative soul, this guided textured art workshop is all about self-expression, no pressure attached. You’ll leave with your own canvas — and maybe a new hobby too.
No celebration is complete without a little indulgence. Guests will enjoy a bubbly and macaron pairing from boutique estate CANTO Wines. Think crisp MCCs matched with artisanal macarons in flavours like salted caramel, pistachio and raspberry.
