Universe on Stage presents The Black Hole Symphony, performed live by the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Daniel Boico from 27–29 November 2025 at Wits Linder Auditorium.
Composed and performed by Yasheen Modi, narrated by Dr. Luca Pontiggia, and visualised by Darius Botha, this six-movement symphony takes audiences on a breathtaking journey through music, science, and the mysteries of black holes.
Featuring the JPO’s full string section and a mix of new compositions and fan favourites—including a stunning orchestral remix of Beethoven’s Für Elise.
