The Sound Of Music (Joburg)

The Sound Of Music, presented by Pieter Toerien, will grace The Teatro Montecasino stage from 27 January until 25 February.

Based on the memoir of Maria Von Trapp, the inspirational narrative follows a young nun-in-training who becomes the governess to the seven children of the authoritative Captain von Trapp, infusing music and joy into their lives. However, as the grip of Nazism tightens on Austria, Maria and the entire Von Trapp family must confront a moral dilemma.
