Where empowerment and athleticism converge, the streets of Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban transform into a vibrant “Sea of Pink” in celebration of Women’s Month! The Totalsports Women’s Race offers an unforgettable experience for women of all ages and backgrounds. As we lace up our running shoes and hit the pavement, we embark on a journey beyond competition, celebrating the strength, resilience, and camaraderie that define womanhood.
Age Restrictions:
This August, nearly 27,000 runners and walkers will unite in solidarity to honour National Women’s Month at the iconic Totalsports Women’s Race!
Celebrating women of all kinds—mothers, daughters, sisters, and aunts—the Totalsports Women’s Race began in the Western Cape in 2001. It expanded to Johannesburg in 2007 and then to Durban in 2011, making it South Africa’s largest women’s race.

Set along the gentle Leeuspruit River — just a short flow from the mighty Vaal — the estate unfolds across 70,500m² of manicured grounds, three shimmering dams, and sweeping lawns made for unhurried afternoons. It’s the kind of setting where mornings begin with birdsong and evenings settle beneath a canopy of stars — whether as a permanent sanctuary or a sophisticated weekend retreat from city rush.
