UPCYCLE: Office Furniture Reimagined- Tétris Design and Build, a key player under the JLL Group umbrella, has embarked on an innovative project that merges art with sustainability. By collaborating with artists and designers, they’ve turned decommissioned office furniture into a series of creative artworks. This initiative, aiming to showcase the transformative power of design, brings a new lease of life to old and unused items, emphasizing the role of design in fostering sustainable work environments.
The exhibit, titled “UPCYCLE: Office Furniture Reimagined,” is set to welcome visitors on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Makers Landing, located in the vibrant V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
The event kicks off with a day dedicated to design students on Friday, followed by a public showcase on Saturday that includes a complimentary guided tour with the designers at 11:00 am. Admission to the exhibit is free, with secure paid parking available at Makers Landing for those attending.
