Joburgers have never relied on good food as much as we do now, especially because today we’re counting every rand and cent. So when we recommend a restaurant we make sure it’s highly recommendable.
"Think big. Think bold. Think bonkers"
Now the only concern we have with Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar eatery is that we’re not convinced our Joburgers are ready for this type of restaurant. Think big. Think Bold. Think bonkers. The portions are huge, actually, they’re gargantuan. If you’ve ever been to America, you’ll understand exactly what we mean. And the fact that the prices are still exceptionally reasonable, even better. You get loads of bang for your buck!
We mean you cannot go without trying their famous Mac N Cheese burger (R155)- greasy, fatty, king-sized deliciousness, it is just damn fine. Or the Trash Can nachos smothered in gooey,cheesy sauce, it’s sinful but oh so juicy. Oh and lets not even begin to discuss the milkshakes, they’re so cosmically gigantic and thick and although it just might be a heart attack in a glass, it’s worth every single calorie.
Picture this: a tower of chocolate goodness, soft brownie pieces, crisp pretzels, Oreos, hot fudge sauce and gleaming meringue. Drool-worthy!
It’s fun food for the whole family. Sure it’s absolute insanity but we think we all crave a little madness sometimes.
Oh and don’t go without having a ride on the mechanical bull.
The restaurant is situated inside Time Square Casino and they now offer a kiddies menu too (Mac n Cheese, chicken fried strips, cheezey burgers, ribs and loads more, starting from R55 a meal).
