Jeep Launches their First Battery-Electric Vehicle: The Wagoneer S

Jeep has been delving into the past, looking back into its legendary history as part of the process to craft its electrified future. The iconic 1963 Jeep Wagoneer featured a luxurious interior, upscale materials and premium appointments. The all-new version will most certainly live up to its predecessor, with the brand having recently shared the initial glimpses of the all-new, all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S’ interiors. The vehicle is set to be sold in the U.S. in Autumn 2024, followed by key markets around the globe.
The premium Jeep Wagoneer S will be the brand’s first global battery-electric vehicle (BEV), adding significantly to its already impressive lineup of SUVs. It is built on the innovative, highly flexible BEV-native STLA-Large platform, boasting remarkable performance numbers. There is also the standard dual-pane panoramic sunroof that adds to its inspired interior. Plus, building on the brand’s exclusive collaboration with McIntosh, the Jeep Wagoneer S will feature a top-notch, discerningly tuned, segment-exclusive, nineteen-speaker McIntosh audio system.
In addition to its unique interiors, the Jeep Wagoneer S’ sleek exterior design is rather distinctive with a reimagined LED-lit class-exclusive seven-slot Jeep brand grille, mostly motivated by aerodynamic efficiency. Furthermore, it offers standard 4xe capability with all-terrain management, advanced Jeep brand-focused technology and impressive performance credentials, including 600 horsepower and a lighting fast 0-60 mph time of around 3.5 seconds.
