The Grillhouse was first established in 1994 and has received numerous awards, including Leisure Options’ Best Independent Steakhouse (for the last five years), and a Rossouw’s Restaurants rating of three stars (the highest accolade).
And while The Grillhouse is famous for its steaks and ribs, the menu caters for everyone, with a range of salads, chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes on offer (not to mention the legendary brownies and ice cream).
With their art deco furnishings and subtle lighting, reminiscent of the classic New York grillhouse, the décor cleverly combines raw face brick, black leather seating and fine timber to create a warm earthy feel. There are also private dining rooms, and a wine cellar for you to choose from a huge selection.
This year they are celebrating over 28 years as Joburg’s best Award-winning Steakhouse.
