Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, diced 
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped 
  • Salt and black pepper to taste 
  • 1/4 cup B-Well Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
  • 4-6 slices of Italian bread 
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). 
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and chopped basil. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste. 
  3. 3. Drizzle B-well Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the tomato mixture and toss well to coat. 
  4. 4. Arrange the slices of bread on a baking sheet and brush them with some B-well Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 
  5. 5. Bake the bread in the oven until crispy and golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. 
  6. 6. Remove the bread from the oven and top each slice with the tomato mixture. 
  7. 7. Optional: sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. 
  8. 8. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Tomato and Basil Bruschetta!
