Durban
Grab a craft beer with your mates at Unity Bar & Brasserie
Unity Durban’s philosophy is all about quality, sustainability and taste. They take their craft beer offering very seriously. So much so that they’ve created their very own brand, THAT Brewing Company. They brew their beer just a few kilometers away at S43, their sister establishment. Locally brewed beer for the win!
Joburg
Unleash your wild side at Amazon nightclub
Allow your senses to be awakened at Amazon. Forget predator or prey, gender or sexual preference. Here, everyone comes together. This brand-new nightlife hotspot is basically flawless, offering the finest in cocktails, the best in music and the coolest Jozi crowd. It’s also the latest addition to The Greenhouse Family – a definite must-visit.
Joburg
Tapas dining and late night vibing at ZEN
The Radisson Hotel Gautrain’s brand-new, ZEN Restaurant & Bar is currently one of our favourite hangouts. It’s ultra-elegant and one of the most beautiful, high-end bars in the city. ZEN boasts epic tunes and live DJs, not to mention their very own, locally renowned mixologist and an award-winning chef.
Be bold and try their famous R1000 cocktail or indulge in their Japanese version of a Mexican mule.
Cape Town
Post-work distractions at Qbar by Quoin Rock
Situated in the iconic De Wet Centre Courtyard in Stellenbosch, the new Qbar Wine Bar is perfect for those wanting to escape the busy streets of town. This intimate, luxurious wine bar has the finest of the Knorhoek Valley’s offerings, including the full ranges of Quoin Rock, Namysto and Knorhoek wines. We dig it!
A firm first date fave - One Park
The Cape Town-based One Park is an absolute delight. It’s not only a vinyl record store of note, but also an art gallery. The food is also beyond delicious and they serve cocktails that we guarantee can’t be found anywhere else. Now, if this doesn’t have ‘First Tinder Date’ written all over it, we don’t know what does.
