SingularityU South Africa Summit Returns in October 2025

This year’s SingularityU South Africa Summit’s theme is: Igniting Africa’s Future. Yes, it’s back and 2025 marks the seventh year it’s being held on African soil. In essence, it brings together global thought leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers, leveraging the critical role that exponential technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) have in shaping the continent’s future.
What the 2025 SingularityU is All About
This year, the summit is set to explore the growing embodiment of AI. Ultimately, it will examine how the most recent advances can be used to address global challenges and future-proof societies.
Furthermore, if last year’s sold-out event is anything to go by, SingularityU will host even more curated premium brands, immersive workshops and networking opportunities. In the end, it’s all designed to spark meaningful conversation.
Held on 22 and 23 October 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre, SingularityU promises an amazing line-up of more than 30 international and local experts. In fact, topics will range from AI and robotics to digital biology, blockchain and spatial computing.
“This year’s summit is about harnessing the momentum we’ve seen around exponential technologies and directing it toward real, measurable progress,” says Shayne Mann, co-CEO of Singularity South Africa. “From the physical to the virtual, this is where Africa’s future is being shaped.”
