Seeing that summer is around the corner and we all want to get out and have fun, we’re excited to share that Pretoria has gained a brand-new tenpin bowling alley. Yes, the City of Jacarandas is bringing it this summer, with lots of fun to be had.
Prepare for a stroke of luck at the brand-new ten-pin bowling alley at Sun International’s Time Square in Menlyn. Time Square has recently expanded its entertainment offerings, transforming 52 parking spaces into a state-of-the-art eight-lane bowling alley! Now, families and friends can meet up for some proper fun and even some healthy competition.
“Since its inception six years ago, Time Square has been a hub of dynamic entertainment and we have continuously emphasised a diverse range of entertainment options,” says Time Square General Manager Ruben Gooranah. He adds that that is the reason why they have decided to expand Time Square’s The Magic Company even further.
According to Gigi Goncalves, Director of The Magic Company, tenpin bowling is experiencing a resurgence. “We provide a lively ambiance with music and dazzling lights where individuals from ages 10 to 100 can have a fantastic time.”
In addition to Time Square’s tenpin bowling experience, The Magic Company also offers a variety of family-friendly and carnival-style games. Players can earn tickets that are redeemable for prizes in The Magic Company’s shop. These feature items like headphones, candies and teddy bears. There are also cutting-edge games for personal enjoyment, suitable for playing on your own or with a friend. Furthermore, there are also a range of rides for younger children between the ages of two and nine.
Time Square’s The Magic Company operates seven days a week, with hours from 14:00 to 22:00 on weekdays, 11:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays, and 11:00 to 22:00 on Sundays.
