The hotel has 9 tastefully furnished suites that are ideal for honeymooners, couples celebrating anniversaries or just because you want to spoil a loved one.  The suites are all located away from the main hotel and guests have exclusive access to the gorgeous Emlonyeni private lounge and pool deck. The main accommodation at the hotel is made up of Garden, River and Sea-facing rooms, all tastefully and comfortably decorated and each with a uniquely Umngazi outdoor shower.

While on holiday at Umngazi there are a number of activities to choose from including kayaking, SUPing, a game of tennis, a workout in the gym, enjoying the mountain biking routes (available on Garmin), running and hiking trails as well as going on guided hikes which include visits to the local community as well as the indigenous mangrove ecosystem.  The afternoon river cruise is a delight and a firm favourite among the guests.

Umngazi is very well equipped to look after the kiddies and keep them very busy with a daily entertainment programme, wonderful nannies, very experienced gillies, a gorgeous creative corner and an outdoor jungle gym with trampoline.
