Cape Saint Blaize Gin has one of the most unique and distinctive looks of any gin we’ve seen on the market today. The creation of this craft gin involves several key elements, accompanied by these stunning bottles. The hand-crafted clay bottles are created from the raw material of yellow and red ochres and are the driving forces behind the existence of their terracotta-coloured bottle (Oceanic Gin).

The bottles are made using a distinctive mould crafted by a pottery master, reflecting the company’s commitment to preserving traditional skills and benefiting the local community. After casting, the bottles are fettled by hand which removes all the rough edges and then left to dry for three days.

To produce Cape Saint Blaize Gin, a blend of locally sourced botanicals is utilised. These include wild coastal botanicals and organically farmed ingredients, grown on the founder’s smallholding at the base of the Outeniqua mountains. The use of hand-foraged botanicals and the diverse biome contribute to the gin’s complex and flavourful profile.
