Radford Dale has just launched their new 2022 VINUM vintage
Looking for a range of wines that offers exceptional value for money without sacrificing quality? Look no further than Radford Dale’s Vinum range. Made from two of the Cape’s most celebrated grapes, Chenin and Pinotage, this range has now been expanded to include four more wines – Chardonnay, Gamay, Grenache, and Pinot Noir.
Vinum is designed to be enjoyed everywhere – from your favorite bistro to your local wine shop. But the best part is that it offers excellent value for money. Vinum uses the same vineyard sites, viticultural practices, and winemaking techniques as the premium Terroir range from Radford Dale. The only difference is that Vinum is more about drinking pleasure and less about the cerebral experience that comes with drinking premium wine. So whether you are a wine connoisseur or just a casual drinker, Vinum is the perfect choice for you. It offers the same quality as the Terroir range, but with a more casual and enjoyable approach.
Jacques de Klerk, the Head of Winemaking and Viticulture at Radford Dale, is excited about the new vintage. He explains that the cooler growing season has been beneficial for the wines, allowing for a slow and even ripening period that has resulted in great phenolic maturity for the reds. The Chenin and Chardonnay also have a lovely tension and zip due to punchy natural acidities. Radford Dale has kept its original vineyards and added other exceptional parcels to their growing portfolio.
The full Vinum Vintage is available for purchase directly from the Radford Dale website and will be available in select bottle stores around the country from May 2023.
