A Cut Above – Steak and wine pairing at MESH
MESH Members Club on The Keyes Art Mile launches a winter series of steak and wine pairing evenings in their ambient and cosy restaurant that is open to MESH members and the public.
If you like your premium cuts tender, seasoned to perfection, succulent and well-aged, this new dining event is set to impress! “A cut above” will run for a few weeks and offer premium, locally sourced, ethically farmed and deliciously prepared steak.
What's on the menu
During the limited series, pick from two set menu options available to share between two people, ideal for a dinner date, business get-together or midweek treat.
Mains include a 750g flambé Tomahawk and a Dukkah crusted 750g Sirloin on the bone. Or choose a starter, main and dessert for R750 between two people.
For the winter season, the ever-popular Mix Bar Meat Platter is available in a much larger version than usual, designed for sharing. Expect generous portions of Sirloin, Lamb Cutlets, Pork Ribs, Chicken Thighs, Boerewors, sides and Chef’s specially prepared sauces.
Mains will include dry-aged Sirloin and Rump (aged up to fifty days). Grade Six and Seven Wagyu Rib Eye and Grass-Fed Angus Sirloin are also available.
Tables can be booked from Monday to Saturday, with live jazz on Wednesday nights. Diners can expect the finest cuts from local butchers paired with premium wine by the glass. Booking is essential!
