Joburg days are getting longer and we can now finally enjoy the early evenings without freezing our ass off. Cape Town Gin has come up with an easy way to de-stress after a long day at the office (or homefice) with a super quick and tasty cocktail recipe.

Called the Sunset Sensation, this winning combination of flavours can also be enjoyed on one for those sunny Sunday afternoons filled with smooth jazz and cheeky seafood canapés.

Ingredients

• 25 ml Cape Town Pink Lady Gin
• 5ml Strawberry liqueur
• 15ml Squeezed lime juice
• 3 Strawberries (cut into pieces)
• 2 Fresh basil leaves
• Soda water
• Ice cubes

Method

1. Combine all ingredients in a tall glass packed with ice and stir well.
2. Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of fresh mint.
