Newmark Hotels & Reserves and Marvel Tours New Fleet

Marvel Tours, the exclusive tour and transfer division of Newmark Hotels & Reserves, has announced the launch of its new fleet of luxury vehicles, marking an exciting step forward for the brand as it expands further into the high-end touring market.

The new fleet — comprising three BMW X3s and two Hyundai Starias — became fully operational on Monday, 20 October 2025. Designed to merge luxury, comfort, and convenience, the vehicles mark a notable evolution in Marvel’s offering and reaffirm its commitment to delivering world-class, bespoke travel experiences throughout Cape Town and beyond.

“Our goal has always been to offer guests a seamless extension of Newmark’s hospitality, comfort and convenience beyond the hotel doors,” says Neil Markovitz, CEO of Newmark Hotels & Reserves. “With this new fleet, Marvel Tours will elevate every journey — whether it’s a guided exploration of our most loved destinations, a chauffeured drive through the Cape, or a private airport transfer.”

Each vehicle in the fleet has been carefully selected for its comfort, performance, and attention to detail. The BMW X3 SUVs offer a refined experience for up to three passengers, ideal for private tours and executive transfers. The Hyundai Staria models, equipped with panoramic sunroofs and individual captain seats, accommodate up to eight guests — perfect for small groups or families exploring together.

This investment reinforces Marvel’s focus on delivering convenient tours in comfort to its guests. Its bestselling itineraries include the Full Day Cape Point Tour, Full Day City and Table Mountain Tour, Full Day Winelands Tour and Best of Cape Town — each thoughtfully designed to showcase the region’s remarkable beauty and diversity.

Every tour is led by highly experienced and professional guides and chauffeurs who bring Cape Town’s culture, history, and natural beauty to life through authentic storytelling and local insight.

“It’s about creating extraordinary guest experiences from the moment they arrive.” — Byron Clayton, Marvel Tours Manager at Newmark Hotels & Reserves
