The Mzansi Food & Drink Show was launched in Joburg by RX Africa recently. RX Africa is behind some of South Africa’s premiere events like Decorex JHB, Comic Con Africa, Africa Travel Week and FAME Week Africa.
The mega food and drink festival will incorporate previous events like the successful Coffee & Chocolate Expo and Fire & Feast. In addition, there will also be Fine Food & Wine, Bar & Good Spirits and the Mzansi Food Market.
Hanli Goncalves, Portfolio Director of the Mzansi Food & Drink Show says: “We believe South Africans are ready for a food show of this stature and we are determined to make it the biggest and the best culinary show on the African continent. It will be the stage on which local culinary personalities will strut their stuff and all the latest foods and trends are on offer, with something for the whole family and for all tastes.”
Visitors will be able to enjoy food and drink tastings, cooking demonstrations, masterclasses, special offers, as well as a marketplace filled with gastronomic delights. In the end, the fun-filled event will cater for the whole family. It will take place over the long weekend that includes Youth Day and Father’s Day – the perfect occasion for the Fire & Feast Festival in particular. Ultimately, it will undoubtedly entertain dads and lads with all things outdoor, meat and braai.

The event will take place at the Kyalami Convention Centre on Saturday, 15 June from 10:00 to 21:00, Sunday, 16 June from 10:00 to 21:00 and Monday, 17 June from 10:00 to 17:00.
