Son ensures his dad’s legacy lives on through exceptional SA wines
The Yiannakis family purchased this little piece of paradise, nestled at the foot of the Stellenbosch Hills on Felicia Farm in 1999. With farming in their blood, the farm was intended as a retirement lifestyle project for the family. Sadly, Com Yiannakis, the family patriarch passed away before they could realise their dream of creating their own private wine label. His son Blaise aptly selected the wines which were maturing in barrels at the time of his father’s passing to be Ònoma Private Cellar’s hallmark release.
The Greek name Ònoma (meaning reputation) was selected in honour of his father’s legacy.
A long list of award-winning wines
