AJABU, Africa’s most dynamic cocktail and spirits festival, returns to Johannesburg from 7–10 March 2026, bringing together world-class international bartenders and the continent’s most exciting bar talent.

Named after the Swahili word meaning “miracle”, AJABU goes beyond cocktails to champion creativity, community and connection, while creating meaningful opportunities for education and representation within the industry.

The programme features exclusive seminars, workshops, immersive experiences and the much-anticipated AJABU Mashups — one-night pop-ups celebrating the art of the cocktail through African ingredients, stories and style.

As part of the Mashups, select Johannesburg bars will offer a signature crafted cocktail for R86 (half price), showcasing inspired collaborations between top local and international brands, distillers and bar owners.
