The countdown is on for the return of one of Durban’s favourite outdoor live music experiences as the 2026 season of Old Mutual Music at the Lake launches next weekend with a special Father’s Day celebration at the Durban Botanic Gardens.
Taking place on Sunday, 21 June, the popular concert series returns with an unforgettable afternoon of live music, family-friendly entertainment, and relaxed outdoor vibes, headlined by South African music sensation Mi Casa and acclaimed singer-songwriter Lordkez.
Whether celebrating fathers, grandfathers, mentors, or special father figures, Old Mutual Music at the Lake offers the perfect setting to create lasting memories. Guests can enjoy a laid-back picnic experience, complete with camping chairs, picnic baskets, and cooler boxes, while soaking up Durban’s winter sunshine and world-class live performances.
The concert also supports the Garden Window Project, an innovative people-and-plant development initiative that contributes to the Durban Botanic Gardens’ environmental education, sustainability, and community upliftment programmes.
