Pieter Toerien Productions, in association with the Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA), presents The Rocky Horror Show at Theatre on the Bay from 7 April to 31 May 2026.
This legendary cult musical, directed by Steven Stead, promises a high-voltage, unforgettable theatrical experience packed with outrageous humour, rock ’n’ roll energy, and the anarchic spirit that has made it a global phenomenon for over 50 years.
Audiences can expect a fresh, fearless interpretation of Richard O’Brien’s iconic musical, staying true to its subversive heart. From the moment Brad and Janet encounter a stormy night, a flat tyre, and a mysterious castle, they are plunged into a world where nothing is as it seems.
Inside the castle, they meet the charismatic Dr Frank-N-Furter, his eccentric household, and the muscle-bound creation Rocky, all brought to life in a dazzling riot of glitter, glam, and guitar riffs.
