Embark on a culinary journey through Asia at LeSi Singing Waiter Restaurant in Pretoria, where vibrant Asian flavours meet distinctive South African wines for an exclusive four-course dining experience.
Taking place on 13 November, the evening pairs thoughtfully crafted dishes with wines from Lost Boy Wines, based in the Cape Agulhas region. The menu begins with Japanese miso-glazed aubergine and crispy tofu, paired with Lost Boy Rosé, followed by Vietnamese prawn and green papaya salad accompanied by Lost Boy Fumé Blanc.
The main course features Korean gochujang-glazed lamb with charred broccolini, kimchi and jasmine rice, paired with Lost Boy Cinsaut and Syrah. To finish, Thai mango and coconut sticky rice is served alongside Lost Boy Pét-Nat, bringing the evening to a refreshing close.
With its creative menu, carefully selected wine pairings and welcoming restaurant setting, this is an opportunity to explore the relationship between Asian-inspired cuisine and South African wines.
