Discover the R1 billion transformation of InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town, from its 306 rooms and new spa to four dining destinations.
Joburg in spring is difficult to resist. The jacarandas may not be out just yet, but the blue skies, warmer afternoons and sudden desire to eat every meal outdoors are already making their presence felt.
Melrose Arch is leaning into the season with a full weekend of family activities, shopping, food and entertainment across the Piazza, The Square and Lower High Street.

The Spring Funzone will take over the Piazza from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday in partnership with Bungee and Clamber Club.
Children can look forward to energetic outdoor entertainment, while Clamber Club favourite Jog the Frog will appear on Sunday at 11:00 and 14:00. A trampoline bungee will also operate on Sunday for children weighing up to 70kg.
Parents, meanwhile, can settle in for an outdoor lunch at one of the surrounding restaurants—or use the warmer weather as justification for macarons, rolled ice cream and gelato. Nobody needs to know which course came first.
Lower High Street will adopt a market-day rhythm from 11:00 to 17:00 on both days.
Presented with The Melrose Market, the Spring Market will feature organic teas, Polish deli meats, flavoured olive oils, confectionery, homeware, handbags, bespoke jewellery, educational toys and hand-knitted soft toys.
Wedgewood, which is preparing to open on Lower High Street, will also join the market with its signature nougat.
Over on The Square, Simple Stories will perform from 13:00 to 16:00 throughout the weekend. The Clorettes from The Royal Countess Zingara will bring additional theatrical flair with a special performance at 14:00 on Saturday.
The weekend’s easy-going spring mood will become considerably louder on Saturday afternoon when South Africa faces New Zealand at 17:40.
Powered by BYD, the premium viewing experience will show the match on large LED screens at The Square. Surrounding restaurants will extend their seating into the outdoor area, allowing supporters to combine the rugby with dinner and drinks.
Restaurant seating is expected to be popular, so visitors should book directly with their preferred venue in advance.
Arrive early, let the children burn off some energy, browse the market and settle in for lunch before the rugby begins. It is the kind of Joburg spring day that starts with ice cream and ends with several hundred strangers questioning a referee together.
