Rethink Your Training Motivation with Willow Way Fitness
While weight loss, toning and strength are all valid reasons to train, should the main reason to stay fit not rather to be able to enjoy life to the full?
There are many reasons why exercising and staying fit are important. While looking slim and toned might be the number one motivator for many, we have found that there are other better reasons for you to start or continue training. There is also no reason, whatsoever, for you to stop enjoying life to lose weight. We believe in eating that soft serve and enjoying that Friday night pizza, but also in keeping the balance. We have long been looking for a gym – or rather a safe fitness space – with the same mantra.
We’ve all felt uncomfortable, sometimes even intimidated, in a traditional gym before. Many of us have kicked off a fitness journey, feeling uncertain and unequipped. It’s also often a challenge to get to a point where you feel confident with every piece of gym equipment, which is why many of us often tend to rather just stick to the treadmill and a set of sit-ups.
Willow Way Fitness has changed that for us, though. It’s a gym that allows you to not only go at your own pace, but also reach the potential you probably never even knew you had. Plus, they do fitness in a sustainable way, allowing you to still enjoy the good stuff that life has to offer. They won’t judge if you come back from a weekend filled with heartwarming meals with friends and family. In fact, they encourage it. You might even get a fist pump (after you’ve completed a set of Spanish squats).
A big plus for training with Willow Way Fitness, is the group classes they offer. While some people prefer training on their own, others need that motivation and a feeling of camaraderie to kick off their fitness journey. There are also professional coaches on the floor all the time while you train, and whether you prefer training with your own body weight or heavier weights, they teach you the best movements, help you plan your workouts and even assist with nutrition for you to reach your personal fitness goals. While the gym is filled with some of the best gym equipment, there is also ample space and opportunity for you to train with your own bodyweight and build your strength from there.
Interview with Vicky Rüger: Running Your Way to a Balanced Lifestyle
Join us as we sit down with Vicky Rüger, the dynamic running coach and New Balance ambassador, to explore her personal journey and passion for running.
In a matter of months, training has become a lifestyle rather than just another chore to fit into our day. It’s become something that we don’t want to miss – a fulfilling and enjoyable hour in our day where we get to test our limits and explore our abilities.
In the end, a healthy lifestyle is what it’s all about. We would like to keep up with or kids as they grow up, be strong as we grow old and as a bonus, also look good on the beach! In fact, since we’ve started training with Willow Way Fitness, we’ve even started considering challenging ourselves to enter a race or two.
Furthermore, our fitness journey has also been filled with a whole new bunch of people who make us feel welcome and part of something. It’s a space where you not only get fit, but also fit in.
