Lucky Fish Friday Night Racing is going Big in Japan on Friday, 9 October, transforming Hollywoodbets Greyville into a Japanese-inspired Friday night experience.
With FREE ENTRY, live racing under the lights, themed entertainment, interactive experiences, food vendors, drinks specials and entertainment for the whole family, there’s plenty of reason to make Greyville your Friday night destination.

The evening’s entertainment line-up includes DJ Yash, Tanner Wareham and a special appearance by Race Coast mascot, Kubo, together with Japanese-inspired roaming characters bringing the theme to life.
And, of course, the racing action remains at the heart of the evening, with live thoroughbred racing under the lights at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

There’s an extra reason to get there early: The first 50 people at the Lightning Shot Bar will receive a complimentary “Cherry Blossom” shooter. First come, first served.
Come hungry
There’ll be plenty of food to choose from around the venue, including Crazy Korean, Wok on Fire, Nachitos, New York Pizza, Street Food Frenzy, Chip n Dip, Pepper Pot, Shirley’s Catering, Bluff Meat Supplies, Dreams of Heaven and more.
For those wanting to make an evening of it, the Durban View Restaurant will offer a buffet for R325 per person, featuring a combination of Asian-inspired dishes and traditional favourites.
The menu includes chicken dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, Japanese-style sticky chicken with soy, ginger and honey, roast beef, roast leg of lamb, grilled hake and lamb curry, followed by desserts including Japanese doughnuts, chocolate brownies and mini tartlets. Booking is essential.
