Murder, secrets and suspicion take centre stage when Cape Town Theatre Company presents Agatha Christie’s classic whodunnit, The Hollow, at Milnerton Playhouse from 12 to 27 September 2026.
Directed by Barbara Basel, the gripping production transports audiences to an idyllic English country home where Sir Henry and Lady Lucy Angkatell gather family and friends for what should be a genteel weekend in the countryside.
But beneath the polished façade, old passions, simmering tensions and closely guarded secrets are waiting to surface. When murder shatters the gathering, everyone becomes a suspect and nothing is quite as it seems.
Packed with sharp wit, complex characters and Christie’s trademark suspense, The Hollow promises an evening of twists, intrigue and classic murder-mystery theatre, with audiences challenged to piece together the clues before the final curtain.
